A spectacular theatrical Balinese dance performance by over 50 dances. Experience a form of Balinese music drama, which originated in the 1930s and is performed primarily by men. Also known as the Ramayana Monkey Chant. The performers wearing checked cloth around their waists, chanting "cak", and throwing up their arms, depicts a battle from the Ramayana where monkeys help Prince Rama fight the evil King Ravana.

Sang hyang Dedari is a ritual dance where its believed a divine spirit temporarily descend to a village and reveals itself through a trance dancer. Sanghyang is the title of a divine spirit and means holiness Dedari means angles and describes the trance dance. Sanghyang Jaran dance is believed to have the power to invite the good or sacred spirits to enter the body of the dancers and put them in a state of trance.
